Personal Sessions

Duration

2 Hours

Private sessions are held to help you through any challenges you are currently facing. The session is a combination of cognitive work, healing, conversational therapy and depending on what could be most beneficial in that circumstance, a holistic approach to therapy is used.

Friendly, light, informal and very personal, sessions are meant to put you at ease and reconnect you with your own inner light. People come in for various reasons to seek help and insight on their current circumstances. Case studies below should illustrate the pool of concerns that can be tackled:

Case Study #1: An HR professional approaches for being flummoxed and harassed by her in-laws, mistreated by her husband and sensing a deep disconnect with life. Lost in life, without a purpose, and with increasing rage issues, exhaustion she felt trapped, irritated and mistreated.

Approach: Gentle listening in therapy followed by cleansing the chakras for blockages, stored stagnant issues in her upper back and shoulders (the area where we often psychosomatically carry past/future baggage). Sessions in cord-cutting and energy retrieval from years of misdirecting her energy into wrong relationships and people who were only toxic for her to connecting her with her feminine energy and balancing the yin and yang imbalance she was carrying since years. This was followed by a session in healthy boundary creations and compartmentalization of various issues in her life. Within a few sessions, she was feeling like her old self again, and towards the end of her sessions, she was so full of life and energy and carrying a deep passion for helping women who had gone through similar issues, that she used her HR background to begin a vertical in helping women from other organizations as well and went onto training herself in various such modalities and today is conducting a successful women empowerment cell on her own merit.

Case Study #2: A concerned husband comes in for help because he was at a crossroads with his wife’s maniacal behavior. She had turned violent to the point of being dangerous, but she refused to seek help and he couldn’t bring himself to being strong enough to admit her for a few days to be kept under observation. He came in to understand how to deal with the situation better.

Approach: While the session started with the focus being on how to get his wife the help,  but I was more interested in understanding why he was unable to take the decision for her, and was in fact riddled with guilt over taking the right call, given her delicate situation. Gently probing his patterns, regressing him to the first time he felt guilty about letting a woman not have her say, is when his own deeper story emerged.

To his surprise, his helplessness went back to his days as a young boy, when his father dominated his mother and never let her have a say in any decision making or allowing her to express herself. The client had resolved as a young boy to always give women the upper hand in every situation and never curb their sense of expression. This incident which had occurred years ago, the client wasn’t even aware of at a conscious level, but once he made the cognitive connection, he understood why this limitation had been blocking him for a long time now in various aspects of his life, not just this current circumstance. He re-analyzed his situation and reflected back on how this behavior had impacted his equations with women throughout his life, with women colleagues, bosses, friends and how he often cowed in, in situations where he should have, by his own admission, been firmer. The session helped him reset what the right course of action was for him as a husband, to get his wife the best help she needed at that moment inspite of her reservations, and eventually to also reset a balance with how he allowed other women to treat him in his life.

Case Study #3: A brilliant young doctor came in for her session because she was listless, unhappy and felt something was missing in her life, even though she was extremely successful and good at what she did. She wanted to understand what the missing link in her life was. Her work, as rewarding as it was for her, she still felt pieces missing that she needed to put together to complete her story.

Approach: We began with a cognitive understanding of her circumstances and dived into the Ikigai model because she felt overall happy in her relationships, but we realized her career was where she still felt she still had more to do. Understanding her model better, we realized that the one thing she absolutely loved was writing medical papers and submitting medical journals to simplify the studies and documenting these stories. As we went deeper and deeper into her model, her excitement began to build, as connecting the dots, her childhood passion, her natural talent, and what she really wanted to do all throughout was: write! Destiny had taken its own route and she had become an accomplished doctor, and she eventually realized, this was no mistake either, as this is EXACTLY the field she was passionate about writing. She just didn't want to work in it any longer just as a practitioner but  wanted to really write about it and bring the findings to the world! The realization heaved a sigh of relief for her because she was feeling guilty about letting go of years of medical practice for something she was not even sure what it was she wanted to pursue, but knowing this was going to be the basis of the work she would always do, filled her with a sense of enthusiasm and joy that she had not wasted away years, contradictory to what she had always told herself. She left happier, focused and really enthusiastic about what she was now going to do with her time and life.

Countless such case studies are points in examples to illustrate that often what we think is a starting problem to something, very rarely in actuality is! And all the answers always lie within us, all we need is someone to help us make the right connection between the dots contrary to what we sometimes entangle ourselves in making! Sometimes one need to go deeper to understand where the roots of certain issues really lie because what appears as a mental issue, often has roots at a soul level and sometimes a body issue can actually be limited by a limiting mental belief…case studies in the next two sections will throw light on these aspects

Clinical Hypnotherapy Sessions

Duration

2 Hours

WHAT : Hypnotherapy is a form of psychotherapy that puts the body into an overall state of relaxation and yet a mentally focused mind to achieve a heightened state of consciousness  to enable exploring the depths of the sub-conscious mind.

WHY: It may be surprising to know that the conscious mind is only 6% in charge of your reactions and behaviour, the remaining 92%+ behaviour comes from the sub-conscious mind. And the sub-conscious has only job: to keep you alive! So anytime it felt threatened in the past ( humiliated in public while speaking, witnessing a scary episode while driving) anytime these events come up again, the sub-conscious sends a distress signal to the body to get away from those situations. And so, even though the conscious mind really wants to be social/vocal/drive/ happy etc.."something" keeps pulling the mind from behaving like consciously desired. This is when the use of hypnotherapy comes in, to safely access the vault of past memories, identify and rectify the wrong survival associations made during that time, which inhibit us even today from moving forward.

CASE STUDY: WHAT: In her session she regressed back to being 6 years old. A single child, it was a time when her mother was battling with an auto-immune disease which was progressively getting worst. The little girl had seen her mother unwell since she was born and had not ever known a happy household. All she remembered was the attention being on her mother, the bills to be paid, the medicines to be brought for her. A young child, starved of any attention or love, her needs were often ignored and being the only child, she had no one to play with. Once while riding her bike in the house, she toppled and fell over, bruising her knee. The whole household suddenly fussed around her, hugging her, holding her and taking care of her for that little while. So much attention the little child had never known! The tiny mind perceived in that instance that the only way to get attention in the house was to either be unwell, sick or hurt! And the body literally caused the condition to support the belief system and was continuing to do so.

WHY: With this realization and breaking the limiting belief pattern, with time and continuing the medication, the body started responding differently to treatment. Each individual is a unique case and has his/her own unique journey as to why certain specific psychosomatic or physical issues arise within them and have to be studied on a case by case basis, and can’t thus be generalized. But in this case, where she had made the wrong connection between affection and illness, her mind would not allow her to get better because this association was without her awareness, serving her. Thus when she cleared her belief system, the body started responding differently. Highlighting the need to look at issues we may be facing from a broader perspective of the mind, body soul consortium.

Hypnotherapy can in many cases work as a standalone meritorious route of clearing various mental blocks or in some cases, the therapy can be used as a healthy, supportive alternative treatment route to support an ongoing plan of treatment, depending on the specifics of a case.

USES: This form of therapy is considered alternative medicine with the purpose of utilising one’s mind to help reduce or alleviate a variety of issues, such as psychological distress, phobias, and unhealthy, destructive, or dangerous habits or understanding repreated destructive patterns. The aim is to create a positive change in an individual, while he/she is in a state of unconsciousness or slumber (sleep).

Systemic Constellation Work

Duration:

45 Minutes-3 Hours

WHAT: This is one of THE most advanced and deep works in the field of healing, conflict resolution and understanding the dynamics between any two energy bodies. In this therapeutic approach, we consider the individual as part of a greater whole – a whole system – rather than as a separate entity. Each member has a specific role in the larger context to everyone else. Suffering usually arises when one or more members of the system unconsciously violates these archaic laws and overstep the bounds of where they are supposed to be. They do this unknowingly, either out of rebelliousness or surprisingly out of love – a ‘blind’ love.

Case Study: A young man, twice divorced comes in to understand the hidden dynamic of why he can’t seem to form meaningful relationships with women and all interactions fizzle out the minute it tends to get a little serious. On investigating down the constellation route, we discovered, his father, who was absent most of his growing up years, had caused him to subconsciously take on the role of his father towards his mother as a protective sub-conscious mechanism. This decision was formed in the young boy’s mind when he was 5. “I will never let mummy feel like dad is missing”. The boy went onto forming a very fierce bond with his mother emotionally. Growing up, she herself was territorial of girlfriends and anyone she disapproved of, was out of the door in no time. Inevitably, no one was good enough for him and he never allowed himself to form bonds closer than a point with any woman, sub-consciously creating conflict, finding faults the minute things were getting serious.

In the two marriages which did take place with some struggle, if there were arguments, he never sided with either of his wives, it was always his “poor mother” who needed to be rescued. The minute the man saw the unhealthy hidden loyalty he had formed, playing out in front of his eyes, his whole life played out for him from a very different perspective. In tears and a healthy realization, the client reset his life pattern affirming “mom I love you, not as a man, but as your son. You have a rightful place in my life, one of love and respect but not of a life partner. In your honour, I will learn to form healthy associations and be a son you can be proud of, and as a man, I now honour that I have a different journey to take”.

Realization for the client: Looking back he realized, his entire childhood was lost in fiercely protecting his mother, taking on a role way above his maturity level or understanding. In his adult life, he sabotaged” which was neither helping him or his mother in the long run.

WHY: A constellation reveals unconscious collective laws operating within a system and helps us to fall in tune with higher laws where we all are one and each of us have our rightful place. Come detect the entanglements, are they in the ancestral lineage, your interpersonal relationships or in life for you? Where are you entangled? Understanding one's place has an immediate healing effect not only on us, but on everyone who is close to us.

This work can be experienced in three ways:

Group Constellation: This is done with a group of people in a physical setting or online, where people take on role-plays for specific areas of the client’s life to be witnessed.

Object Constellation: The facilitator enables this constellation using figurines and shares a detailed report with the client on the discoveries of their individual case.

Hypno-Constellation: Here the client can experience the constellation themselves in a hypnotic state to get a first hand overview of overlapping issues. Extremely beneficial for personal entanglements, self esteem issues and getting a deeper perspective on individual hidden strengths.

Areas of Focus: Relationships, family discord, health, money, work, couple relationships, family entanglements and patterns.
